Great Hall
The Great Hall, essentially the epicenter of the Lower School, is a gathering place for students, families, and teachers to greet one another at the start of each new day.
K-2 Classrooms
The first years at Trinity are crucial in building self-confidence, developing responsibility, and forming friendships all within a nurturing, child-centered classroom environment.
3-4 Classrooms
Noticeably more academic, Trinity’s third and fourth-grade classrooms live on the top floor of the Lower School building where students use all that they have learned in their early years to fuel their curiosity and master essential skills before heading off to Middle School.
Ceramics Studio
In the Ceramics Studio, children explore clay as a material, paying attention to how pieces are attached while looking at surface decoration and texture.
Sculpture Studio
In the Sculpture Studio, students learn how to transfer a two-dimensional image on paper to a three-dimensional model using materials like paper and wood.
Art Classrooms
Students explore painting and collage projects by learning how to draw in proportion, exploring tertiary colors, and working through a multi-step project.
Music Classrooms
In music, students develop skills in singing, music reading, moving to a steady beat, and music listening by studying multicultural songs, reading and writing music notation, performing line and circle folk dances, and exploring timbre, melody, and rhythm.
Orchestra Room
The fourth-grade instrumental program gives each student the opportunity to study one of the following instruments: Violin, Viola, Cello, Trumpet, Trombone, Saxophone, or Clarinet.
Science Lab
Our science program encourages students to participate in a vast array of hands-on and interactive laboratory investigations culminating in fieldwork and marine science research in fourth grade.
Spanish Classrooms
The integrated Spanish program operates in tandem with the social studies curriculum to help students communicate in Spanish by providing frequent opportunities to produce the language in meaningful and purposeful contexts.
